Street Play at Moti Silod


On the evening of February 29, 2024, at 8:30 PM, a street play on the theme of cleanliness was organized by the ITC Nadiaad Project in Moti Siloda. The event saw the participation of various members of the village community including children, youth, adolescents, women, men, and elders. The main performers included a team of actors from Ahmedabad who presented an engaging play emphasizing the importance of cleanliness. The street play aimed to promote actions such as water conservation, proper waste disposal, refraining from spitting in public, avoiding addiction to tobacco, and keeping the village clean and beautiful by refraining from littering. The message of maintaining good health and hygiene was effectively conveyed to the audience through the play, reaching out to the people with a strong message. This initiative was highly appreciated by the villagers, and positive feedback was received from both the village Sarpanch and the elders. Additionally, video bytes were taken from two children and two youths, adding to the overall success of the event. At the end of the program, the village Sarpanch commended the efforts of the organization and the project, praising their work in front of the village community. Many attendees expressed their commitment to conserving water, refraining from spitting in public, properly disposing of garbage, and contributing to keeping their village clean and beautiful. In total, 157 people attended the event, contributing to its success and spreading the message of cleanliness and hygiene effectively.
