Street Play at Nani Silod village
On the evening of February 29, 2024, a cleanliness-themed street play was organized by the ITSC Nadiaad Project at the Nani Siloda village. The event saw participation from various segments of the village community including children, youth, adolescents, women, and men, along with elders. Main performers included a team of actors from Ahmedabad who presented an engaging play emphasizing the importance of cleanliness. The street play aimed to promote actions such as water conservation, proper waste disposal, refraining from open defecation, avoiding addiction to tobacco, and consuming locally grown fruits to ensure good health. The impactful message conveyed through the play reached the audience effectively. It was the first time such an event was witnessed in the village, bringing joy and enlightenment to the residents. The project team successfully completed the initiative, and feedback received from both villagers and local authorities was highly positive. The event was attended by 190 people.
