Child Cabinet at Mokampura village
Date: 27-03-2024, Wednesday, Child Cabinet meeting was held at Mokampura Primary School. The meeting mainly focused on the functioning of the Children's Parliament. It introduced members of the Children's Parliament Cabinet and discussed their responsibilities. The discussion covered the duties of the Prime Minister, his/her role, and responsibilities, as well as those of the Minister of Cleanliness, particularly regarding school sanitation and morning ground cleaning. Following that, the Health Minister addressed the need to ensure the well-being of students in schools. It was decided that first aid would be provided through first aid boxes as needed, with arrangements made accordingly. In case of illness, the head teacher should be informed, and further medical assistance should be sought from a doctor. The activities of various ministries, including the Sports Minister, Environment Minister, Cultural Minister, etc., were also discussed, and their roles and responsibilities were made known to train the members of the Children's Parliament. The formation of the Children's Parliament aims to instill democratic values among children and involves conducting digital elections. Information about the election process was provided to all applicants, and teachers were appointed as Chief Election Officers. They oversee the elections and assist other teachers.
