Child Cabinet at Nani Silod village
On March 21, 2024, a meeting of the Child Cabinet was held at Nani Silod Primary School. The main focus of the meeting was to introduce the members of the Children's Parliament Cabinet and discuss their roles in the functioning of the Children's Parliament. The discussion also covered the responsibilities of each member of the Children's Parliament Cabinet. Specifically, the roles of the Prime Minister were discussed, as well as the duties and responsibilities of the Cabinet Ministers, including the Health Minister and the Sanitation Minister. The effectiveness of the Sanitation Minister in ensuring proper cleanliness in the school, including inspection of the cleanliness of the playground and various sections of the school, was emphasized. Following that, the Health Minister instructed that first aid should be provided using first aid boxes in case of any incidents at the school, and further medical attention should be provided as necessary. The Head Teacher should be informed in case of sickness, and doctors should be consulted for further care. Additionally, the roles and responsibilities of other ministers, such as the Environment Minister, Cultural Minister, etc., were discussed. Training sessions were conducted for the Children's Parliament to understand the principles of democracy, and digital elections were organized. Information about the election process was provided to all applicants, and teachers were appointed as Chief Election Officers. They conduct elections, and responsibilities are assigned accordingly. The establishment of the Children's Parliament aims to instill democratic values among children, and through the election process, various ministers are elected to perform their respective duties and responsibilities. The meeting of the Child Cabinet was successfully concluded.
