Poster Exhibition at Erandiya village


On March 21, 2024, a Poster Exhibition was organized in the village of Erandiya. Approximately 80 people, including individuals of all ages, attended the exhibition. The event was organized by a team from Gujarat University and CRC Nadiad, focusing on cleanliness through posters. The aim was to raise awareness about cleanliness among villagers and to instill consciousness among people. The exhibition featured posters with messages encouraging cleanliness. Resolution: From now on, litter will not be thrown there. The courtyard of the house will be kept clean. Hand hygiene will be maintained daily. Care will be taken of hair and nails. Healthy food will be consumed daily, including nutritious snacks. Urination will not be done in public places. The toilet at home will be used regularly. Streets will be cleaned regularly. Vegetables will be washed thoroughly before use, and only healthy food will be consumed. Wherever there is open water, it will not be polluted, and taps will not be left open unnecessarily. Other people will also be informed about health.

On the date of 21-03-2024, the Child Cabinet meeting was held at Nani Siloda Primary School. The meeting primarily focused on the functioning of the Children's Parliament. Introductions were made for the members of the Children's Parliament Cabinet, and discussions were held regarding their roles and responsibilities. The discussion included the duties of the Prime Minister and their role and responsibilities, as well as those of the Ministerial Cabinet, such as the Health Minister, and their tasks. Specifically, the responsibilities of the Cleanliness Minister regarding the cleanliness of the school, including inspection of the grounds and monitoring the cleanliness of the school's sections, were highlighted. Household Surveys in Nadiad and Mahmedabad Blocks

Team successfully conducted 824 household surveys in the Nadiad and Mahmedabad blocks. These surveys were crucial in gathering comprehensive data on the challenges faced by households in these areas. The results highlighted significant issues, such as a lack of access to potable water, proper sanitation facilities, and functional drainage systems for a majority of the households. Furthermore, the surveys revealed high dropout rates among students and alarmingly low literacy rates among women. These findings point to the urgent need for targeted interventions aimed at improving both living conditions and educational outcomes in these communities. In total, 824 households were directly impacted by this survey.
