Poster Exhibition at Moti Silod village


On March 6, 2024, A Poster Exhibition was organized in Mota Silod village. Approximately 75 people attended the exhibition, where representatives from Gujarat University and CRC Nadiaad's team conducted an exhibition on cleanliness. The exhibition aimed to raise awareness about cleanliness among villagers, and participants were encouraged to interact with the posters by placing their hand-prints on them. Resolution: From now on, we will not litter. We will keep our homes and surroundings clean. We will maintain personal hygiene by cleaning our hands regularly, taking care of our hair and nails. We will consume healthy food daily, including vegetables and fruits. We will not urinate in public places but use toilets whenever necessary. We will ensure cleanliness in the streets and use toilets appropriately. We will encourage others to be aware of their health.

On September 19, 2024, a "Swachhata Hi Seva" campaign focused on a cleanliness drive took place in Village Nani Silod. The event was a collaborative effort involving the Mohalla Committee, village leaders, and students, aiming to create a cleaner and healthier environment. The efforts were led by an SHG (Self-Help Group) member, who played a key role in coordinating the activities and ensuring community participation.

Child Cabinet at Nani Silod village

On the date of 21-03-2024, the Child Cabinet meeting was held at Nani Siloda Primary School. The meeting primarily focused on the functioning of the Children's Parliament. Introductions were made for the members of the Children's Parliament Cabinet, and discussions were held regarding their roles and responsibilities. The discussion included the duties of the Prime Minister and their role and responsibilities, as well as those of the Ministerial Cabinet, such as the Health Minister, and their tasks. Specifically, the responsibilities of the Cleanliness Minister regarding the cleanliness of the school, including inspection of the grounds and monitoring the cleanliness of the school's sections, were highlighted. Household Surveys in Nadiad and Mahmedabad Blocks

Team successfully conducted 824 household surveys in the Nadiad and Mahmedabad blocks. These surveys were crucial in gathering comprehensive data on the challenges faced by households in these areas. The results highlighted significant issues, such as a lack of access to potable water, proper sanitation facilities, and functional drainage systems for a majority of the households. Furthermore, the surveys revealed high dropout rates among students and alarmingly low literacy rates among women. These findings point to the urgent need for targeted interventions aimed at improving both living conditions and educational outcomes in these communities. In total, 824 households were directly impacted by this survey.
