World Blood Donor Day Celebration at PHC Arera
On June 14, 2024, World Blood Donor Day was celebrated at the Arera Primary Health Center (PHC) with the participation of SHG group members, village leaders, and community members. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation, inform the community about health schemes, and empower them with crucial health information. The staff of the PHC, in collaboration with villagers, provided accurate information about the blood donation process and its benefits, encouraging voluntary participation. A total of 37 individuals, including PHC staff and villagers, donated blood, making a meaningful contribution to the success of the event. The celebration served as a platform to foster a sense of community and responsibility toward health and well-being.
