Raksha Bandhan Celebrations Honoring Sanitation Workers and Midday Meal Staff

On August 16, 2024, Raksha Bandhan celebrations were held at Hathnoli and Varsola Primary Schools, along with other schools, as part of the ITC "Mission Sunehra Kal" initiative. The event aimed to promote respect and gratitude for sanitation workers and midday meal staff. Girl students from grades 5 to 8 participated by tying rakhis to the workers, acknowledging their essential contributions to the schools and villages. At each location, 10 students tied rakhis to 10 workers, symbolizing respect and appreciation for their efforts. The principals and Sarpanch Shri were present to support the celebrations, which fostered a strong sense of community and raised awareness among students and villagers about the importance of these vital roles.
