Visit to Arera PHC Center for Maternal and Child Health Support

A visit to the Arera Primary Health Center (PHC) was conducted to strengthen the support for Maternal and Child Health in the region. During the visit, Supervisor Jigneshbhai Patel and Medical Officer Dikshitbhai Patel collected vital information, including the due list of Antenatal Care (ANC), Postnatal Care (PNC), and immunization records. This initiative aimed to identify key challenges faced by the PHC in delivering these services. The team interacted with healthcare workers, including ANMs (Auxiliary Nurse Midwives), GNMs (General Nurse Midwives), FHWs (Female Health Workers), and MPHWs (Multipurpose Health Workers), to gain insights into the status of services provided to pregnant women, lactating mothers, and adolescent girls. They committed to offering necessary support to Arera PHC and nearby centers to meet their targets, particularly focusing on improving maternal and child health outcomes. The visit included coordination with the Wellness Center and PHC to streamline information sharing and ensure timely service delivery to the community.
