Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Survey

Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Survey was conducted on October 18, 2024, at the village level through house-to-house visits, aiming to assess the health status of pregnant women, lactating mothers, and children under 0 to 6 Months. The survey gathered key data on antenatal and postnatal care, immunization coverage, breastfeeding practices, nutritional status, and common childhood illnesses. Additionally, it examined the awareness and utilization of government health schemes such as Janani Suraksha Yojana and family planning services. Findings revealed gaps in antenatal care visits and nutritional supplementation for pregnant women, as well as instances of malnutrition and incomplete immunization among children.

Meeting of the Self-Help Group (SHG) at Mokampura Village

  The first meeting of the Self-Help Group (SHG) in Mokampura Village was held on 11 th Oct 2024 bringing together local women to discuss the formation of the group, its objectives, and the benefits it could provide. The session focused on educating the participants about the SHG model, highlighting the importance of collective savings, access to microcredit, and the potential for income-generating activities. The women were also informed about future training opportunities in skill development and financial literacy. With strong participation and enthusiasm, the group laid a positive foundation for empowering women in Mokampura towards financial independence and community development.

Frontline Worker Training

  A front line worker training session was organized in PHC (Health Department) and ICDS Sector Level focused on adolescent health care, gender and diversity, and human rights. The event saw the participation of 75 attendees from the Health and ICDS departments.
