Team successfully conducted 824 household surveys in the Nadiad and Mahmedabad blocks. These surveys were crucial in gathering comprehensive data on the challenges faced by households in these areas. The results highlighted significant issues, such as a lack of access to potable water, proper sanitation facilities, and functional drainage systems for a majority of the households. Furthermore, the surveys revealed high dropout rates among students and alarmingly low literacy rates among women. These findings point to the urgent need for targeted interventions aimed at improving both living conditions and educational outcomes in these communities.
